i have a latent phobia of merry go round horses that surfaces every now and again.... when i was a kid i had an evil cousin (i don't know if i still "have" this cousin) who always told me that an evil man in a dark cloak hid at the center of the merry-go-round, and that he had been known to suddenly swoop out from his centric lair and kidnap little children. thus, the horses that continually circle his dark realm have always held a frightening sort of stigma for me....

I was the least musically accomplished. Rhythm guitar hack, singer and main writer. What I gave up in technique the other guys had. I had a decent sense for what a song should sound like, probably from listening to so much music for so many years. Someone (probably loaded) compared us to a mix between The Tragically Hip/Danzig/old R.E.M./& Sloan. I think we broke up 30 seconds after they said it because that was as good as it was going to get.
