Luke - Just listening to some Broken Social Scene because I saw it on your mixes. Reminded me that I'd been meaning to check them out. Pretty damn good. I'll have to delve into 'em quite a bit more. Anything you'd recommend in particular?

YFIP is their best, no doubt. The s/t is great, too, if you like that one enough. Work on from there.

I was just playing Pearl Jam's "Black," closed my eyes have way through and the guitar took over from there. I pretty much blacked out. It was pretty awesome. I feel like I slept.
Duly noted, Luke. What I've heard has been pretty stellar so far. On repeated listens, I'm sure I'll grow more impressed.

a picture of awesome awesome is a weezer t-shirt shaun and i were at a movie a month or so ago, and while walking out we passed this guy who looked familiar to me... i was ready to keep walking, but he said "hey! i know you. shasta? from high school...." i could not remember his name, and i thought he was kidding...i thought it must be someone i saw around campus or something, but then he said..."yeah, it's you....you were always wearing those Weezer t-shirts." my best friend had a huge weezer symbol on the hood of her subaru, made with electrical tape. we were gung ho on that shit. another of my friends made out with one of the band members at DV8. ahh, so many memories come flooding forth when weezer is invoked... |
