Anyone mention this place to Patlogi? I don't have an email address, but I know he had become exceptionally frustrated by continued board bombings.

Thanks for the welcoming.
I figured everyone would get confused by the new name, but I mailed my new email to all those that were in my address book (AOL automatically logged anyone in there who sent me mail). So yeah, I have a new name, and thank god cause I been hating that "Slarknaked" name for a long fucking time.
Got my hotel reservations made for NYC last night. Finally. I put things off way too long. Not really all that excited about the concert, but I'm sure it'll be cool. Would have rather seen Alanis or something... I love her new album. It's way better than her last one, a little more upbeat and not as polished.
I been moving back into a lot of music that's radio friendly lately. I've always loved Blink 182 and Linkin Park, but bands like Fuel, Hoobastank, Godsmack, Maroon 5, etc. are just fitting my mood as of late. I dunno, I'm weird. Honestly, I think I'm a sheep. I hang around new people, get a taste for the music they listen to and I end up liking. Maybe I'm just open-minded, and maybe I'm just a sheep who really has no personality or sense of himself or some habib guru bullshit. Or maybe I've just always liked that kind of music, but repressed it as I was expanding my horizons or something. Who bloody knows? And who cares?
Other than that, I'm still a loser janitor at a grocery store who can't afford to go to college. Still learning to play guitar after putting it down for way too long because I was drinking and having fun. I hate myself for ever putting it down. Stupid ass. Still seeing the greatest guy ever while not being a "f*****" in the process. Taken a liking to baseball. Something different.
Yeah, I've blabbered for far too long about myself. I'll be around.

Jac, did you delete your thread from the Music section? There's a slot with nothing in it where it used to be. I would have thought it would remove the space - maybe you have plans for it. I haven't deleted any threads, and I don't suppose anyone else has, so I don't even know what it does.

Strat-0, I tried to delete the thread, but you saw what happened. Sorry if it caused any inconvenience, and if you have the ability to delete it completely, please do so. As it stands, I cannot access it to put a title back in place... Really sorry...

All tidied up. I also found out that you can only edit, delete, or move a thread (topic) from the thread itself, and not with admin tools. If you click on "delete" from within the post box for the 1st post, the thread goes into "board limbo" with no title to click on, and I don't know how you can get to it - I don't think you can. You have to click "remove topic" at the bottom of the page to delete the thread. Luckily, the hot link we added to the topics under the "Start your music threads here" board took me to the thread, somewhere in board purgatory, where I was able to delete it.

(I was adding an explanation edit after "All tidied up" in that post while Riley was posting.)

Hmmmm... Didn't know exactly where I was gonna post this.
I'm sure I'll be thrown off of these boards in the near future. Yeah, I still have that oh so cliched hatred in my blood. Madonna's religion didn't work out for me so well. Peace, harmony, blah blah blah. Make me fucking vomit. I miss the days where people hated each other... whatever happened to that? Those days when I knew I was right, you knew you were right, and hell, everyone was right. Or the days when people would pretend to like each other yet make catty little comments every once in a while and start an argument? This is fucking boring.
I like Linkin Park, and think Modest Mouse is wankery.
The new name doesn't mean there's a new guy behind the "mask." I'm sure you all will probably stay here once the boards are all fixed over at RS.com, but that's where I shall go because I don't like the bloody vibe here. It's almost stifling. Depressing even.
Eh. I go to NYC in a few weeks, and bask in the beauty of homeless people. Yeah, I'm seeing Madonna (oh boy) playing songs she made 900 years ago that she said she hated but now all of a sudden after her album flopped she's gonna play them. woo hoo. I heard she's covering John Lennon's Imagine, and I don't know how I feel about that considering I'm paying 105 dollars for right of stage seats. I could probably pay for a better blowjob for that type of money... hell, the boyfriend would do it for free. (Oh, yeah, the gay thing, oops)
Anyway, peace in the middle east so my gas prices go down, Matheus.

Slark, nobody is going to get "kicked off" for speaking their mind or not pulling any punches. The only thing that doesn't go is malicious troll behavior.
I think the "vibe" of which you speak happened because of the way RS abruptly shut down without any regard for the people who posted there - some for years. These are our boards and not RS', and that's the difference. I think most people here appreciate being able to interact without browser-stopping html bombs or page after page of venemous spam and impostering. Sure miss those popups, too.
