And I ain't "silencing" your speech, haha, methinks what's really going on here is I have merely put forth some reasonable observations and you're at such a loss as to how to clearly refute them, that you instead resort to going on the defensive, attacking me "back" (forgetting all the while it is not YOU I have attacked), and trying your damndest to discredit me with whatever arsenal you happen to have at your disposal.
Which, thankfully for me, ain't much.

No Roc: I graduated from yes, Emerson College 18 years ago. Haven't as much as cracked open any textbooks since. In fact, I couldn't have told you what the fuck "moral relativism" is until Mary conscientiously provided us with a very clear and reasonable definition.
And by the way: I never once attended any colleges in Virginia.

And because the academic life (or keen as hell interest) has past us by a few years back and we may have known the chapter and verse, they however haven't had the chance to forget, yet. Tho Mary, it is obvious since it's her calling, never will. Fuck it, because these people (well, except for Mary) are boring, chain-pulling Turds, simply fucking around here. Include the Emerson College magna cum cloacum, thorn.. The U of Va (Georgetown at one time, wow!) student-for-life, Kenny... And the prurulent angry boil on the unwiped ass of MA and the entire East Coast, shin... Their shit is BO-ring. Wow, I've missed doozey here. It appears from where I'm sitting that Art and Doc are suggesting that as long as the bad guys are doing more things wrong then we are we shouldn't complain. I might be wrong, if I am please correct me. If I'm right that's one of the dumbest fucking things I've ever heard. Appearently our morals are a sliding scale and we can safely forget all about our principals as long as our enemy is suitabley "evil".

You got one thing right: Our troops ARE NO BETTER than the brown bombers. Thorny, I think your indignance with Artknocker is causing you to come unhinged. You don't really believe that, do you? I really hope not, man. I know where you're comin from, strat-0. I almost backspaced over posting that, nearly thinking the same thing you are. But then I stopped myself and remembered how this entire escalating dilemma got so deeply entrenched in the mire of hatred and mistrust. So I opened my heart a little more and did the Christian thing: decided to quite literally forgive the little brown men who flew planes into our buildings. So YES, I really do believe that. We ARE NO BETTER than anyone else! If Art or any of the bloodthirsty (good word, Roc) conservatives hellbent on revenge ever WAKE UP TO THAT FACT, then (and I'm afraid only then) might we stand a chance of backing up from this cesspool of twisted vengeance, bloodlust, and hatred we've found ourselves sinking chin-deep into. Why don't you put down your fucking GUNS and start USING the weapons He equipped you with? Mercy, forgiveness, compassion, and LOVE for fellow humanity are your weapons. And you let them sit there in your basements to COLLECT DUST.

Thorn, you do understand that the more you lecture on your perception of Christianity, the more ignorant about Christianity you show that you are, right?
Do me a favor. Since you are such the expert on Christianity, you obviously have a bible close at hand. Review Ecclesiastes 3 for me, and let me know why on earth God made a time for all of those things, if we only acknowldge half of them.

No, Chrisfan, I don't understand how the more ignorant it shows that I am. I was brought up a Christian: and I understand it perfectly well, thank you very much. Do you know why? Because it is straightforward and simple: Love your neighbor, Thou Shalt Not Kill, Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged, exercise the redemptive power of forgiveness, be a good person. I just happen to think a goodly portion of so-called christian circles these days have REALLY lost it, when it comes to what their religion stood for in the first place. But such is the manner of all INSTITUTIONS, hmm? They all invariably go through the same ol' revolutionary process until at long last, they must build up from the ashes all over again.
Spare me such technicalities as having to ace some pop quiz on your particular denomination's intricasies.

Ecclesiasties is in no way shape or form just some technicality of my denomination. It is quite a relevant book of the bible. Try reading it. You won't look so painfully ignorant. The understanding of Christianity you display on these boards is about the equivilent of the knowledge of world history that a third grader posesses.
