I too am hoping the Packers go all the way this year. One more ring for Mississippian Brett Favre!

Good! Blood coagulates more rapidly that way ... Go Packers ! It's 5 degree below zero here right now ... In farenheith(sp?) without any windchill factor ! Minus 25 celcius ! Eldest Son participated in the "Mont- Ste-Anne 24 hours Race" which took place from Saturday at 12:00 to today at 12:00. His team mate and him made 77 runs in the 24 hours period they snowboarded !

What team was your son in?

The name was Super Splash (!?) and the two of them finished in 69th place with a combined total of 87 runs. Eldest Son swears he made more runs that he was credited for because of a faulty electronic counting device he had on but since the team that finished first got a grand total of 104 runs, I think he and his partner did just fine each going at it for 12 hours each in segments of three hours... One guy did 104 runs all by himself ! !

full top-to bottom would constitute one 'run'?

GO GIANTS ! PACKERS ALL THE WAY !! (I wish) ..and what the heck is this? covered your bases there pretty well!! felt bad for the pack not being able to hang on. probably would have felt worse for the giants' kicker if he'd also missed his third attempt at a fg that quarter...i'm thinkin' seppuku would've been in order! interesting thing, since the summer i've had a great high-quality nfl-official ny giants hooded pullover sweatshirt (multicolored embroidered logos and shit) that i bought basically because for 9 bucks at marshalls (an excellent surplus clearance store here that sells high quality for cheeeep...all sorts of merchandise that'd been overstocked somewhere) i could never have found a heavyweight sweatshirt like that anywhere else. and it was an xxl so the inevitable shrinkdown after washing wouldn't be any problem like with most of my sweatshirts. it was a no-brainer for me to buy it. i'm not a fan of theirs necessarily (tho i am a default 'fan' of any team from ny generally), nor do i want to appear to be a bandwagon jumper...so then, i guess i can't wear it anymore, right?

Yep! During the night, they skied "le gros vallon" (big small valley) which is 2327 meters (7500') in lenght with a vertical drop of 625 metres (2000').
That run is my favorite on the montain...
A few times he did "race" with a few other participants and they took about 45 seconds to go from top to bottom ... ! ;D !
The kid had very small eyes this morning ... LoL!!

OH! That was before the Giants-Cowboys game ...
As long as the Cowboys lose, I'm happy !
Hated to see the Packers beat themselves like they did yesterday and now it means I don't care who win the SB in two weeks !
