full top-to bottom would constitute one 'run'? Yep! During the night, they skied "le gros vallon" (big small valley) which is 2327 meters (7500') in lenght with a vertical drop of 625 metres (2000'). That run is my favorite on the montain... A few times he did "race" with a few other participants and they took about 45 seconds to go from top to bottom ... ! ;D ! The kid had very small eyes this morning ... LoL!! sounds and looks like a great run! but you've gotta check a figure there, because if they're doing 7500 feet in 45 sec.....that's (by my possibly effed up calculations; 7500/5280 and 45/3600) 1.420 miles in 0.0125 hours is 113.6 miles per hour. they were probably losing some of that 7500' distance by either starting somewhere down-mountain or finishing somewhere up-mountain. nice scientific calculator here btw: www.globalrph.com/calc.htm i'm trying to talk up friends of ours (with their very own 4 year old also named matas, the freaks) to take a trip to vail with us the 2nd week of april. buddy of mine bought a condo that sleeps 12 and sez it's ours if we want it.... it'll be my first skiing of any sort in 4 fucking YEARS. i cannot stand it anymore!! plus we'll put both the kids in ski school....

It would be super kewl if Eli won a Super Bowl the year after his brother won one. It'd be the first time something like that happened, I bet.

The Patriots are quite simply the best team in NFL history. They've re-written the old "any given Sunday" adage . . . On any given Sunday, any team can lose to the New England Patriots.

Doc ... Indeed! No way they can do that kind of speed. He must have been speaking about the run they did during the day which ends in mid-mountain and is a whole lot shorter than "le gros vallon".
I know he can go awfully fast but I don't think he can go over 60 MPH even on a closed run ...

The Giants will come close, but there's just so much talent on the Pats that I don't see them losing. 10 cents says the G-Men's kicker blows it in the 4th.

(that never gets old) The line is still at 14, but you know it's going down (I might give 6 1/2 just for shizzles & gigglez). The G-Men came close in that last game against the Pats but I just see Peyton dropping a stinker. He'll be back for sure, he's talented enough.

But unfortunately for them, they didn't.

Brady on IR? Well, I know it is not cool to celebrate an injury, but...
Karma.
