Talk of the town at the moment. West Coast had no choice but to sack Cousins now.
I fear Judd may be wasted on Carlton too.

Its all over the news sites I frequent... really sad story - a career with much promise and acheivement, now ruined through stupidity...
I mean, these guys are bloody stupid for getting involved in that shit and realise it in the first place, but I just think its tragic when anyone gets caught up in addiction that involves in dire consequences such as loss of life, career, etc.
I do hope that the Eagles do something towards helping him, or at least there is something on offer to pull the guy off the bottom of the muckheap, becuase this sort of thing just makes me kinda depressed...

Think i ran into Cousins in Sydney recently- he is hiding out here!
Anyway, had to post this here for you Scottsy:
Wear it with pride
Loved the story this week about a Geelong fan by the name of Neville, who decided, while on holiday in Phuket, Thailand, with 15 schooners on board, to get a tattoo. Above the image of a Geelong Cat, he wanted the tattooist to inscribe "Day Premiers 2007". So there could be no error, he wrote it down on a piece of paper, with the words "left arm" to indicate where he wanted it. Alas, alas, when he came back to himself, there was the image of the Geelong Cat alright, but so, too, had the tattooist written "Left Arm" - and "Gay Premiers 2007".
No wonder I always pronounce Phuket as 'fuck it' ;D

Always thought Hall was a bit of a thug - there's some good evidence right there in that vid... I know it isn't meant to be a sport for those with a soft touch, but that kinda behaviour just isn't called for...

He's done for 7 matches. Stupid, stupid man.
Saw your Power put in a reasonable performance in away to the Eagles this arvo...almost gave the game away in the last quarter like they did against the Lions at AAMI...they held on enough this time.
Been some good matches on. The Power-Crows match was a beauty! Watched the Bulldogs-Tigers-match and that was a thriller too! Been plenty of good contests around, probably the best opening of the season I've seen for a while.

Now that Port won a match we might finslly plug the computer into the TV and watch a match - there's something disheartening about going to the effort of plugging in, tuning in and then watching a game you already know your team lost - but this one could be the first we stream this year! Hurrah!

Well, let me say this. Australia's Cemetery Urn may just get the Blue Ribbon Prize for being the heaviest, most brutal band me and all of my die hard friends have ever witnessed.

Oh man it was a blast. "Embrace The Hate" was truly the heaviest, and most [shadow=black,left,300]BRUTAL[/shadow] metal show I've ever been to. It felt kinda like having your ass kicked repeatedly by Alex and his gang of droogs. And I'm not talking about the moshing - -although there was plenty of that, most of us diehards didn't really participate, because it was about the metal. By the time Angelcorpse played - - it was like, we were done. It was an eleven-hour fest, mind you. (Although we arrived around 5 - - so it was about 8 hours for us). I've got all the pics up on my myspace, you gotta check em out: myspace.com/thornswrathIt probably won't let you see em unless you're signed on. . .
