Read an article today about the "Vatican rejecting gay priests." No kidding. I mean really, don't Catholic priests have to take the vow of celibacy? ALL of them? So, does that mean that there would be gay celibate priests? Hardy-har-har. Got a good laugh from that one.  |

Thats basically asking the Catholic Church to change its way of life for something "The Body" or the church as a whole, considers a sin. It's ridiculous and has nothing to do with "equal rights" in my opinion. Its one group forcing another to accept "their right to equality." Kinda like a girl wanting to join the boyscouts I suppose...

Shouldn't a priest's sexuality be irrelevant? I mean, they're supposed to be celibate, so does it really matter who/what they're attracted to? This is the Vatican setting up a straw man, if you ask me. "We're not going to allow any gay priests." That's a lot easier to say than to actually do something about the chronic problem with pedophilia in the priesthood (which, BTW, is not correllated to homosexuality, banning gays won't do anything about this problem).

The deal isn't about Scratch per se, it's about putting certain words together and what that does or can do for search and scripting engines. I don't want the forum to become a target for kooks on either side of the issue. That's just not the kind of traffic we need to generate, right? Better to keep a low profile and ensure survival. That should be pretty easy to understand. Take a look at the banner ads at the top of the page for a sample of the tip of the iceburg. So you're callin my friends Clubber and Pissin "kooks" -? What a jerk. I know what this is all about - - no need for me to stoop down to that level & blurt it out for all to read, however. What strikes me as the funniest about this whole friggin insipid fiasco is that CLUBBER was the #1 fuckin coolest, most easygoing, well-respected and down-to-earth original Rollingstone.com poster of all. The refusal to simply throw yer hands in the air & allow both Pissin and Clubber back in is at once pathetic & deconstructive. But it's "your" board, I s'pose . . .whatever floats "your" boat . . . . |
