What the hell does that gibberish say?

Pictured here is the passing McNaughton Comet. This comet was discovered in August of 2006 by astronomer Rob McNaughton. It is the most prominent and the most easily visible from Earth for an entire 30 years.
Lithuanian is made even more gibberish-y here when this site doesn't have the right letterfaces and then just substitute whatever it has, usually from some other language's alphabet, for what I saw when I C&P'd it....not that that would help you guys to understand it.
It just becomes totally goofy-looking to a person who knows the language...
There ya go.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just post in English?

Actually fuzz, I believe it would have been more difficult to do that.

For him maybe, but not for everybody else. But then again, the good doctor is a translating machine.

I didn't get to see that one and now it's gone behind the sun. Found out too late and the weather didn't cooperate. I don't know if it will be visible again - need to check on that.
Not sure what they mean by "It is the most prominent and the most easily visible from Earth for an entire 30 years."

Yeah.
Pictured here is the McNaughton Comet passing over New Zealand. This comet was discovered in August of 2006 by astronomer Rob McNaughton. It is the most prominent and the most easily clearly visible from Earth for an entire the most recent (or 'past') 30 years.
Strat, is it the McNaughton Comet or is it the McNaught Comet?

I think it would most properly be "Comet McNaught."
If it was as bright as the recent Hale-Bopp or Hyakutaki, I'd be awfully impressed (and a bit surprised - it's rare to have that many bright comets in a lifetime, although anything can happen).

Sunspot An image released by NASA, taken by Hinode's Solar Optical Telescope on Nov. 20, 2006., reveals the structure of the solar magnetic field rising vertically from a sunspot, an area of strong magnetic field, outward into the solar atmosphere. (NASA) Mar 22, 2007

Thank you, friend Thorny, but I hate to be corny The words just come natural to me But the cosmos are real Despite how we may feel And that solar prominence completely dwarfs dozens of earths...
