I'm listening to the STONEsour album -- it rocks quite proficiently, w/a modicum of jagged crunchiness, mellifluously offset by Corey Taylor's dynamic vocal range.
It really is a kickass album, highly recommended to anyone who likes to rock out now & again.
Don't be SQUARES! Get into STONEsour (dammit)!!!

Guns 'n Roses- Make My Day(bootleg) (Jumpin' Jack Flash)....man they really shouldn't have...
Thorn, Blood Money is really good. It's alot closer to Bone Machine then anything else. It's really pretty creepy in spots, it's certainly not a feel good album.

I'm listening to Shangri-La Dee Da. Scott Weiland is a god.
Well, a junky god, but a god nonetheless.

love the diversity here..you all are my favorite indie-folks around...this morning I was listening to my recent purchase: best of Guided by Voices and I can't figure out why they haven't had mass appeal......melodic, intriguing, versatile....

Honestly, bow. Most of GBV feels like half written songs and by the numbers hooks. I like some songs alot...Robert Pollard is undoubtedly a talented songwriter (as was Tobin Sprout) but when I listen to GBV I always wonder how much better they'd be if Pollard took the time to really write an album instead of trying to put out an album a month with one of the many bands he's in. Bee Thousand came pretty close and each album has a couple really great songs. Glad Girls is pretty close to perfect, sadly the rest of the album falls short.

Coney Island Baby from Blood Money is one of THE most touching songs I've ever heard Tom Waits do... NP Rosanne Cash - Rules Of Travel THIS is a tremendous album! Duets with her late father on 'September When It Comes'....Steve Earl's on at least one...and her version of Dylan's 'Hope Against Hope' is friggin sublime ...get this disc.

I just bought a new phone and I can set actual Mp3 clips of Alice or Coney Island Baby as my ringer...also they have Rancid and The Descendents...I thought this was all pretty strange...but cool, everyone looks at me funny when my ass starts playing "creepy jazz".
