Nice, Shaner.
I always loved the song "Fallen Angel".

me too, Thorn. But Larks' Tongues In Aspic remains my King Crimso album of choice. It's magnificent.

That is an album I need to explore more fully; it happens to be one of the very few Crimson albums that I never acquired for myself, and hence have only managed to hear it in full, oh -- perhaps twice.
Seeing as how you consider it their masterwerk -- I am going to choose it as the first newly acquired Crimson-vinyl for my re-established record album collection.
I can hardly wait.

Yesterday, while driving home from Wildwood:
No Thanks! - Disc Four
That one is my favorite of the four, probably because of its diversity. There's something I love about hearing The Pop Group's "She Is Beyond Good And Evil" followed by Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him?"
NP: Nas - Doo Rags

I was talking to a musician/music nut last week, who is/was big on prog rock..anyway, he said if there is one LP to get from that era it is Lamb Lies Down on Broadway...I do love Peter Gabriel, specifically his first three solo LPs.....so would this one at all appeal to me?........plus he loved early King Crimson..I only have their stuff from the 80s (e.g, Discipline)

I didn't go on that many (just the Tilt-A-Whirl, the Sky Ride, and a few fun water slides), just because everything was really expensive and I didn't feel like blowing all my money on rides. Why do you refuse to go on them?

Judas! Listen to "Visions of Johanna", "Desolation Row", "One Too Many Mornings", "Ballad of a Thin Man", and "Like a Rolling Stone" and tell me this isn't the greatest genius rock 'n' roll has ever seen. [as for the electric disc: play it fucking loud]

Why do you refuse to go on them? i just went on the ferris wheel (corny, eh? actually a little chilling when they stop you on the top... i haven't been on rides for years so maybe that's why i got nervous) and the great white. to be completely honest with you, roller coasters that go upside down and go pretty fast frighten me. as far as water stuff goes, i can't swim at all so that doesn't help... unless the water isn't too deep, then i shouldn't have a problem. i was really glad to go there, it did my heart good... boardwalk creeks a little bit when ya walk on it, though. and too many seagulls... i was afraid one of them would do you-know-what on me (and it was an inch or two away from just that, too). the pizza at the boardwalk is awesome, though.

Roller coasters scare the shit out of me. Love those haunted mansions though. My girlfirend, on the other hand, loves roller coasters and hates haunted mansions.
...Yeah, we make a great couple.

The Great White? Was that the wooden roller coaster? I don't like those. I've been on Rolling Thunder at Great Adventure twice and didn't like it, because it's really shaky to the point where it feels like you're going to fall off. Plus it drops straight down after the first big hill. Some of the steel ones are okay, if I had to go on any of the steel roller coasters at Wildwood, I would go on the Nor'easter (the one with the purple track). But I didn't feel like paying $5 for a ride that lasts 2 minutes.
