Asshole.
Just out of curiosity, was anyone buying the Rileydog Has Torrid Love Affair with Jr. High Teacher story? Just wondering if I spilled the beans too quickly there and fucked up a perfectly believable fib.
Oh and just to ensure I maintain whatever shred of relevance I have as the sexually potent banker most of you believe me to be, I rarely spill the beans too early. This was the first time, I swear.

Having sex with a hot teacher is probably a cool enough story if you're one of the students re-telling the events years later, but hardly if you're the fucking weirdo having sex with your students, whether your creepy ass lands appropriately in jail or not.

Yeah, the whole thing was pretty weird - you'd think a hot 30-something professional jazz musician wouldn't be so desperate that he'd take advantage of some teenage girls who had serious crushes on him. Especially when he was married with two little kids.
Guy was incredibly talented - but man, what a creep he turned out to be. Went to jail for having sex with a 10th grade student for three years and harrassing a friend of mine (phoning her for sex, kissing her in the middle of a lesson, asking her to babysit and he being the only one home when she got there.)
Ugh.

That sorta shit is simply mammoth egotistic selfishness...because he could. ~ Classical wonders... This guy's Cuban by birth and he's faculty at the Peabody Conservatory...this the Albeniz is wonderful, one I've heard prob a 100 times...the Turina I need to give another go, since I was sorta busy as it was playing this morning... Then You can't go wrong with a disc that includes Puccini, Debussy and Dvorak, especially with a violinist at the level of Joshua Bell...

My girlfriend is a seventh grade English teacher, so I get to live out that fantasy each and every Monday-Friday at about 3:15 p.m. It's great. You used to live out much more interesting stuff than that.

Yes and no, Riley. That looks just totally pissed on the page and in one sense it is, but the song sounds simultaneously like a big blow-out celebration.

Hey Don! It's good to have you here, finally... I don't post near as much as I used to but every once in awhile I throw something out there. It wasn't hard for me to decide on an avatar (the "Boy Howdy" logo)...I've always loved that little work of art ever since the days I was an avid Creem reader. Glad it brought a chuckle to you! BTW, did you know that the "Boy Howdy" logo was drawn by R. Crumb? Most folks who remember it from Creem associate it with the fictitous brand of beer that the writers conjured up as an excuse to profile artists (a satire on the Dewars advertisements that were popular then), but Crumb drew it as a milk bottle (or, more accurately, a CREAM bottle, to go with the magazine's title). No doubt you are already well aware of these things, but I was bored and wanted to post SOMETHING... Now playing: Philip Glass Einstein On The Beach
