Are you fuckers trying to tell me it's time to revisit The Pogues? Honestly, were they that good?

Is it just me, or are The Smiths and Joy Division taking it toe-to-toe with the Beatles?

Uh, I had Queen in there twice. Fixed it. The Homosexuals were a completely rock outfit from the late 70s. The basically only had one LP, although I think they released some other stuff under their previous band name "The Rejects." I like them a lot. I picked up their compilation "Astral Glamour" a while back and was totally blown away. The Homosexuals basically named themselves out of defiance to the British punk scene, and seemingly did everything they could to avoid the spotlight. A more in depth retrospective. www.dustedmagazine.com/reviews/1595I must also say that their inclusion has a lot to do with the fact that my love for British bands hasn't aged very well. I had a ton of bands in my list of great American bands, but I struggled to come up with 15 British bands I absolutely love and am willing to listen to anytime. I don't know why it happened that way.

Clubber, I have to say that's a damn fine list. We can argue the order of some of them later, but there will definitey be some similarities in lists! Also reminded me not to forget Dire Straits.
