These two are often paralleled somehow, with OK Computer being considered the DSOTM of our generation. For me, it is complete absurdity to even consider another album even close to DSOTM. Even OK Computer. But I know who's going to win this one. I know. I know. I hate it but I'm positive who's going to win. I can't relate in any way, shape or form with the idea that Radiohead has surpassed Pink Floyd or ESPECIALLY that they've written a better album than DSOTM. I realize that many will probably mumble to themselves,"He just doesn't get it." That happens to be precisely how I view all those who are about to pick the winner of this poll. So, before you go ahead and put it at the top, I'll have you know that it is an established fact that you just don't get it. ;D

I'm so glad Dark Side is winning here. Radiohead continues to be miles ahead of any other band as far as "overrated" goes. If anybody wanted to ever torture me they'd strap me down and put headphones on my ears and make me listen to that wankery for hours and hours. I'd eventually swallow my tongue and die. here's radiohead in the studio working on their next album:
Thom Yorke: I'd like to add some more whiny vocals in all of the songs
Guitar player: Sure Thom, but are you talking to me? I can't tell with that eye of yours.
bass Player: Ok, more whiny vocals. But i think we need some more bleeps and blips added too.
Drummer: Cool! More whiny vocals and tons of bleeps and blips! Brilliant!

Radiohead = Wankery I always thought that the term wankery referred to likes of Led Zeppelin, Hendrix etc. You know, music with long, show-off guitar solos and such. Of course Zeppelin is even better than Radiohead to me and the Jimi Hendrix Experience is in my top 10 for sure. But I don't get how Radiohead could possibly be anywhere in the vacinity of "wankery" at all.

you're so gay that when i fuck you in the ass you don't feel gay I was going to start a new thread and poll to respond, but out of context it might confuse people. So are you saying? a. I'm gay b. Holzman's gay c. Holzman and I are gay for each other exclusively d. we're all gay including you, because you want to have sex with both or one of us. I don't think I'm gay, but I wouldn't mind some sex, so I'm just looking for some clarity. oh yeah. e. does Radiohead have something to do with this or are you just pissed because Pink Floyd are fucking awful and Radiohead are great

I'm going with (d), because it's the only way Clubber's comment really makes sense.
And b/c when the last survey I completed asked for "sex" my answer was "yes, please!"
What else can I say? Everyone is gay. -- Kurt Cobain.
Oh yeah, when I listen to Radiohead, I may love it (OK Computer, Hail to the Thief) or hate it (Kid A, Amnesiac), but it never puts me to sleep. Even back when I liked Floyd (I was a stupid young teen, who hadn't yet discovered punk), it was the best snoozing music I could think of. Put on DSOTM and I'm out like a light. So I'll take interesting over sleep inducing every day.
