as much as i love floyd, dsotm has got to be one of the most overrated albums ever. i much prefer animals or wish you were here or meddle.......

Fredrum - just noticed you were from Racine in Wisconsin - I'm currently planning to move to the US and in particular Wisconsin, to live with my beloved fiance, Melissa!!! (known around here as Mellie or more recently, MrsScottsy)
But to be more on topic (this sorta discussion is more suited to the pantless lounge or kats timezone if you wanna follow up!)...
I'm really torn between this choice... but ultimately I think I'd take OK Computer - to me personally it had more impact on my listening, the music I love and the directions I took my appreciation of music. I won't hide the fact I have a bias towards more contemporary artists as well...
However, I totally agree with your point that Meddle was more interesting - that's damn good album!

Dark Side is some kind of humanist statement, however flawed.
Flawless, it is, I say. Flawless. Wouldn't add or take away a single note, voice etc.
