pizza hut has an all you can eat buffet? when does this happen. sign me up!! Monday thru Friday, 11:00am-2:00pm, all you cab eat salad, pizza, breadsticks, rigatoni & cinammon sticks for $4.99. I don't think all Pizza huts do this, but both of the ones in the city I work in do. Watch out for the stampede of "heifers" at the pizza hut trough...liable to get trampled!

i don't think my local Pizza Hut has the lunch buffet, but i'll have to look into that. i've never heard of it, or if i have, it's never registered with me. sure beats $15 for one of their pizzas.
and Taco Bell. umm-umm. i know it's crap mexican, but man, am i addicted. unfortunately, the nearest one is at least an hour away from me, in either direction. but whenever i head to Portland Me, or Portsmuth NH, i always make sure to grab some Taco Bell.
but nothing beats those little taco stands in san diego. humberto's, i think it was. thin red sauce that was maybe the hottest thing i've ever tasted.

oh, man, an Angel pic. and here i betray my carefully crafted hip, cool, board persona by admitting that i own just about every album they may have done. White Hot is a classic.
and i still love that maxell ad pic. ah, the memories of youth.

I at least stopped after their 3rd! LOL The debut & "Helluva Band" had some rocking moments to them....I was just feeling that SOMEone would make a comment on the pic -- I was looking for a band to contrast with The Misfits and they popped into mind... I will admit that I still have one of their t-shirts, black with the Angel 'face' on it.....

no kidding!!!!...........it was funny Ayinger, I was a huge Fleetwood mac fan during the Future Games/Bare Trees/Penguin/Mystery to Me/Heroes are hard to find era, with Bob Welch, Mcvie etc, but then I went with my sister to see this all day concert circa 1975 (Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac, Loggins and Messina, and Lynrd Skynrd!!..gawd, is that so 70s!!) and anyway, I was much displeased when there was a new guitarist and female vocalist and NO Bob Welch..anyway, was pretty perturbed by it all, then a few week later a new song called "rhiannon" came on the radio, and who would guess they would sell a zillion lps!!!!!

It always seems like the Bob Welch days tends to get the short end of the stick being sandwiched inbetween the P. Green era & the Buckingham/Nicks era --- I actually liked a LOT of the sound of the band then, esp. "Future Games" & "Bare Trees"...and I DO like Christine McVie's singing over Ms. Nicks who, IMO, gets to bleating like a sheep from time to time. Stijll, I'll give that she made a great nude album cover with Lindsey there!

Phil: those album cover take-offs are priceless! esp. like the Pink Floyd "Umaguma" -- but did anyone notice on the "Who's Next" parody that the little girl's mark is up higher than the boy's..... I mus' be missing something.....

ah...Bette Davis in her younger days.... Not what I'd call gorgeous but something damn noticible in her.
I'm a sucker for those old b&w starlets. Myrna Loy was just HOT and ohhh, have I a place for Judy Garland and her big brown eyes....check out a film called "The Clock" with her. There's several places where she looks up to the camera and I just about loose it....

Just find the Hamster Jovial-comics (Gotlib the author) and read some of the most hilarious send-ups on music. The Themroc-one was classic!

I probably aw Albert play 10-12 times...one of them was at the Fitzgerald's nightclub about a half a mile away from my house on the night of a MAJOR snowstorm and he was driving down from friggin Minneapolis...Bill Fitzgerald announced that they'd be some 2 hours late, offered a couple of free drinks on the house and surprise, like nobody left. We all hung in and waited for Albert to show up, and it was one of the greatest club shows I had EVER seen! Fucker was out in the crowd, JUMPING from one table to another, just flyin' HIGH on all the Albert love we had that night...what an incredible performer. You musta noted Luther Allison there too, I hope...didn't see him even once Always thought that I'd get my chance..and then he was gone. Lots of great stuff on CD though...
