Now you weren't being serious, were you? I mean, there ARE things about you which most certainly are a cipher.... ;D

damn, I forgot about this thread.... uhm, anything gonna come of it? Jim Morrison won right? So did everyone else, including me! Naw, it wasn't Jimbo ... he didn't even get a single vote. The Boss beat His Bobness for the top spot, followed by Tom Petty and Ed Vedder.

that's not a bad top 4.... Did anyone see the article I put up in the PJ thread? It was basically a review for the Strokes concert, but Eddie Vedder and Lou Reed joined them on stage for a few songs...

I didn't see that post, but I saw the write-up on the Irving Plaza show. Sounds like the band is in fine form.

Ah, I haven't dragged my lazy ass to the record store yet. The last three weeks have been all about doing work on the house. I spent all day yesterday working on the sprinkler system in my back yard. The dogs spent all day getting filthy dirty -- the white dogs were no longer white when I called it a night! So I had to wash them ... which I did with a hose in the driveway, just like washing a car. The only difference is that you don't have to wax a mastiff after you've washed it!

I could imagine that is the only way to really wash them; can't picture a Mastiff in a bathtub...
Those are fun dogs....I need to get out of DC so I can afford a single family, and I too can get a dog! Prices in Arlington, VA for a 3 bedroom run close to 1 million dollars! Townhouses even cost like 750K - to 2 million! Even row houses in border line ghetto areas run about 600K! It's very hard to get a house in these parts....Anyway, the day I do, is the day I finaly get my dog(s)....

I forgot about this. So...here's my quick half-assed list, if we're still doin' this. It's not accurate, I put no thought into it, but I don't want to. 1. Bruce Springsteen 2. Paul Westerberg 3. Frank Zappa 4. Mike Patton 5. Eddie Vedder 6. Elvis 7. Kurt Cobain 8. Bob Dylan 9. Lou Reed 10. Johnny Cash 11. Neil Young 12. Tom Petty 13. Chuck Berry 14. Peter Buck 15. Michael Stipe 16. Trey Spruance 17. Stone Gossard 18. Danny Carey 19. Buddy Holly 20. Roy Orbison 21. Frank Black 22. Iggy Pop 23. Ian MacKaye 24. Dean Ween 25. Gene Ween
yeah...the order on that was as they came to mind...good enough for me. I think I was just going by how adequately they rocked their instrument into my little pea brain.

I never really got if Bon Jovi was supposed to be his solo effort, or if they were a band called Bon Jovi.
If it's the latter, what the fuck is up with that. "Dude, what should we name our band?" "Uh...how 'bout Bon Jovi?" "Dude, what the fuck, you pompous dick." "C'mon, dude, you'll be banging Heather Locklear in no time." "Ah shit...I guess."
I mean, Slaughter I can understand. If I was in a band, and our singer’s last name was Slaughter, I’d be all over that shit.
And Van Halen…well, they’re half the band, and one of them is fucking Eddie Van Halen.
But Bon Jovi, what the fuck?

Was that an oversight, or do you not like his music?
