No I love Hendrix. I forgot a bunch. But I refused to change any of it. I was strapped for time, and I wanted to put my list up.

Here I was thinking that you were just showing your exquisite taste and independence, Frag. I thought it was really awesome that you left Jimi off your list.

Colbert quote of the day: "I am impervious to logic."
I almost had to spit out my lunch when he said that.

Colbert just may be the best show on TV....+ he's a South Carolina boy, so he gets extra props from me.

You know, I didn't even think about Flea...I was thinking mainly lead singers/guitarist. Damn, Flea is the face of the Chili Pepper's IMO, and perhaps should be in the top 50...probably the only bassist to make the list...

Cool list bow! Have a few footnotes, if I may: Fagen/Becker as 'rockers' somehow don't fit in with this all-encompassing view I have of that term perhaps. Great musicians, yeah. But I guess after watching a blistering performance of The Stooges on local TV here my senses are a bit bludgeoned around the edges.
Frank Black and not naming Kim Deal? Kim sucks the marrow out of the bones of rock 'n roll for mine!
And QMS?Cipollina-Valenti = rock 'n roll indeed!
I'd like to volunteer:
Dick Dale Link Wray Gary US Bonds Robert Gordon Dead Moon Lonnie Mack Duane Eddy The Cramps The Fuzztones Flamin Groovies The Sonics!
