I've been having a terrible time with Limewire, but I'm a Mac guy. I am going to have to find something else. Anyone have any suggestions?

My buddy who's a Mac-only type guy uses eMule. And Oink.

I set my friend's Mac up with Nicotine when I was in Denver this weekend. Didn't get to play with it too much, but it seemed in good working order and I found everything I was looking for pretty easy.
Soon as I install another gig into my computer, I'm diving headfirst into oink. But right now my computer is overflowing and I really couldn't manage it.

I want to d/l soulseek but I don't know which version I should go for. It's got version 156, 156b and 156c. Is there really any difference, or should I just go for the most recent of the bunch?

I use 156c. Well actually I never use soulseek anymore. Mostly rely on ysi's and indietorrents. But 156c is probably the most stable.

I finally got hooked up about a week ago and I'm using utorrent for downloading. Tried azureus for a few days, but it just seemed kinda slow. utorrent is the way to go...
Any recommendations for a good bittorrent search engine? I use isohunt for the most part, but I can't seem to find many things I want over there...

If you use Firefox, and you should, they have a nice torrent search toolbar that searches a ton of search engines at once.

I just downloaded Firefox. It seems much faster than Internet Explorer. First 10 minutes using it so far, I'm impressed. Thanks for the tip.

I just installed the torrent search tool bar. I'm having a ball with Firefox. No delays when you hit the 'back' button, multiple tabs in the same window, pausing downloads, the built in search bar, very user friendly, super fast, and so much more!! All for the price of.... nothing! I feel like a brand new internet surfer today... I'd like to apologize if this post sounded like a tampon ad.
