I want to get;
Weakerthans - Reconstruction Site Nada Surf - Let Go Cold - Year Of The Spider Emm Gryner - Girl Versions
I've heard/read great things about all these, and liked the clips I've heard.
What do you think of these? And what are the top cds on your WANT LIST? Regards.

Mike, the only ones I've heard are the Nada Surf and Weakerthans albums. Nada Surf is a fun pop album, and Weakerthans is worth the purchase. I'm not a huge fan, but I know people who swear by them.
Can't wait for the Broken Social Scene album so I can buy the album legitimately.

Reconstruction Site is a great, great disc - in my top 5 albums of of the decade, in fact.
Also, from a big Emm fan, Girl Versions is a must. Her best album to date, IMHO.

Got the 'Go' LP on vinyl somewhere's in the basement...
I really like this 'want list' idea, Mike.
Mine changes every day or I forget what it was that I'd bookmarked in my head to look for...these days it's been largely in the 'world' genre.
I'll be back when I remember what it is I want... ;D

I keep a "CD Want List" on my computer. Funny thing is that when I enter my favorite record store, I can hardly remember ANYTHING from my list. Then I get distracted by other titles. I know, I should print it out.
I buy most of my cds used on eBay or Amazon anyway.
I am really pumped to get the Chixdiggit that I ordered, also I will buy the new Lagwagon AS SOON AS IT IS RELEASED. Might pre-order even.
What's on your WANT LIST?

oh my jesus. i went into HMV to pick up the Stooges remasters, and they were so expensive that i had to change my mind. Sure, they're double CDs and all, but it was a bit outrageaous.
that said, i'll still be picking up at least Fun House
not to mention the fact that i have the Stooges Funhouse boxset of 6 cds, making this remaster less of a dire necessity to get for me...
