No, have fun but you're the one going on about mounting protests until he's banned. I go a few when I feel like it and ignore him when I don't.

I hadn't realized that Dimebag died on the same date that Lennon died or that Morrison was born. I have never heard that referenced once. I also hadn't realized that Morrison was born on that date actually. Glad my blog coudl enlighten you Fuck off.

Look, Skvor we all know he's an idiot and he's never going to admit it. Why are you putting so much effort into it? His whole game is to put you on the defensive, to make you feel like you have something to prove to him. allright, I've been working on this for a few days now, and I've just about got my list of one-album wonders set. But there are still a few I'm rather uncertain about. One is Television. Marquee Moon obviously is a landmark, but I'm having a real hard time thinking there second album Adnventure is anything other than mediocre. Anyone have any thoughts on that? Also, the Traveling WIlbury's Vol.3, isnt half bad. But it is no wheres near as good as the first IMO. So that one is on the fence. Another one is Marcy Playgrounds self-titled debut. It's a prett good album, but I wouldnt say its great--so therefore does it really qualify as a "wonder"? ~I was also thinking of Carole Kings Tapestry, but I'm rally not that familiar with her other albums. Plus she has written hundreds of songs, for several decades--which makes it kind of hard to qualify her as a "one-album wonder" imo... ~theres also the Exploding Hearts that made just the one album (guitar romantic) in 2003 before 3 o fthe band members were killed in a car wreck. There one album is garage/punk sounding classic IMO, but no one else in the world seems to have ever heard of them--so if no one knows who they are, are they really a "wonder"? These are some of the questions I have to wrangle with before I finalize my list and write up my blog.

Wouldn't the Traveling Wibury's fall under this rule too?
and why did you quote me when it had nothing to do with the post?

Wouldn't the Traveling Wibury's fall under this rule too? Good point. But I think success as a band and success as a solo act are different enough to warrant being judged seperately. But this does make me reconsider putting Tapestry on the list because much of her writing success was as a part of a team...so, I still have to think about it some more...

The Exploding Hearts are pretty awesome and that record is fantastic. It's tragic what happened to that band though. I love that record. I would consider them a "wonder" as I think in the future they are going to have a pretty large prescence. To me they are what I wanted The Strokes to be. I do like The Strokes though. Quite a bit actually.
Carole King doesn't count as she has written a ton of stuff.
Marcy's Playground are fucking terrible.
"Marquee Moon" is so good that it beats mosts artists' entire catalog in my opinion. I think it's so fucking good that I place it in the list of "perfect album" more than one album wonder.
