Awesome. You should come to the festival if you can, because its a great line up (and a ton of bands for the money), but so long as you're in town, at least get together with me and Kenny for a drink or two. Yak might come along if he's in town that weekend too.

By the end of the weekend I should be hungover, deaf, and severely sunburned. And dreaming about Mission of Burma. I can't wait.

Had no intention of getting this drunk tonight. But with bro in-law here every night supplying "oh! I don't wanna impose!" whiskey, it's really fucking hard not to. Wife is pretty cheap wine trashed, as well.

The Detroit Opera House is really a beautiful building. That would be amazing to see Tom Waits there.

I'm not a huge Waits fan, but I did look into seeing him at the Auditorium Theater here in Chicago, but it's just too expensive for me.

Yeah, Luke got trashed and PMed me his phone number one night. The next weekend I was hammered and thought I'd give him a call. His wife answered. I sort of flipped out and hurried off the phone. Sort of embarrassing. I guess probably worse for Luke than for me. I'm still pissed that she thought that I sounded Canadian though.

Not that there's anything wrong with sounding Canadian of course. But people from Michigan like to think of themselves as having the standard American accent (you know, the one they use on TV), so when people suggest we sound Canadian we get pissed. I ain't no Yooper.
