It has. The knock was so bad, even the news programs didn't mention it in their news announcements!
New Zealand are definitely in shock! They have been banking for 4 long years on a victory- the last Super 14-season was being hampered by the fact that none of the prospective All Blacks were allowed to play for their regional clubs- as a result the South African teams ran away with that comp and bizarrely, they're still in the Cup! This will have huge ramifications.
As for the Aussies- they hurt but secretly they enjoy that the all Blacks were knocked out with them.
FWIW- Canada did you guys proud, Phil.

Yeah! They held their own for 2/3 of most games but always seemed to ran out of gas in the end ... !

Took a forward pass to knock you guys out, mate. The rotation policy has proven to be very difficult to maintain, as Liverpool also can testify to. I sincerely had hoped the All Blacks would win it, it would have been deserved.

And hey, Phil- nice pic of junior there! Has he been playing long? And what division?

It's his second year playing for his high school team and this summer he trained with the Junior and Senior camps organised by the Québec Rugby federation. There are no division system in any organised sport in North American, only minor and major leagues ...
There are no Rugby leagues in Québec (or Canada I think) only at school level.
"Junior" also started coaching the girls' team at school ! LoL ...

The ref didn't ping France once in the whole second half, which is unusual, and the winning try was a forward pass. I feel the All Blacks were really unlucky.
As for England, we're a piss-poor team - ranked number 7, four years of steep decline etc - but even we can still beat a team that can't scrummage. Australia basically played without prop forwards. Unbelievable at this level.

Maarts - England fucked it in Russia eh? Gonna finish third in the group now and not even make the Euros. England's on suicide watch today.
When it starts I'll still watch though. I'll give Holland a shout for you I reckon. It's revenge time on those Portugese wankers!

Hmm, The Russia-game was always gonna be a dangerous one. I have a bit of difficulty with coaches being hailed as saviours in bringing in substitutes at a certain time that work but Pavlyuchenko's entry in the game was not met with the correct response by McLaren and the team. England not making the main torurnament is a bit like the All Blacks missing the final....
Hope you don't mind that I'll be going for the Boks in the final, Jesus? I just want to see that smug cunt Wilkinson weep....
