Try living in Mellencamp's home state. Especially when you're around Bloomington or other outskirts of Indy...very annoying. Him and James Dean I could do without.

Yes, those are the commercials I'm talking about. There is a whole series of them, and they are all annoying as can be. Trying to appeal to a shallow sense of patriotism is so 2002.

I like Mellencamp. I have his double CD Greatest Hits album and think it's an awesome collection. I enjoy his music much more than I do Springsteen's.
