Creed is a great band, even if they aren't together any more. They truely got where they did the old fashioned way, touring their butts off. Started out on their own label, then signed to a label that had no other bands yet signed.

Fucking up shows, being all drunk like a bunch of assholes. Worshipping jesus every second of the hour. Yeah, the old fashioned way.

Haha, Creed. You should have seen those gangs of fucking losers walking from the Alter Bridge stage during VooDoo Fest. Oh man, what a joke, in their "3 Doors Down" and "Shinedown" shirts. Saw more than a few mullets.

The pick betrween Tool and Soundgarden was excruciating....but Soundgarden got the deserving nod.
Kim Thayil has GOT to get himself back into the public eye! Where the FUCK has he gone?
One incredible guitarist....Adam Whathisname couldn't carry a guitar-pick for him...much as I do love Tool.

That's the funniest thing I heard all year.

They're both brilliant, but where Thayil might beslightly stronger technically ( and I would still say that's debatable), Jones has the edge on mood and general feel imo.

Very nice diplomacy there, Riley. Hey, could you straighten out my tie, too ?

Yeah, see I believe Jones could get all technical and whip out the crazy fast weeedily deedily deee solos, but he just don't want to.

I can see why some people find Jonesy the weakest musician in TOOL though (leaving aside his songwriting genius)... he seems to have a limited sonic palette, and sounds a bit thin and uniform until Lateralus. Having said that, I rate him highly.

Adam Jones honestly didn't do jackSHIT when I saw Tool live during the Lateralus tour....not musically OR in terms of live stage presence.
He's like Edge, he's nearly only ONLY a mood setter...possibly that's him seeing his 'role' in the band's dynamic, but I was quite unimpressed.

To talk of Adam Jones like that is just silly.
