Chinko. Manko. Kintama. Paizuri. Shojomaku.
I think those were the names of the guys who starred in those old b&w comedies from the 30's......you know, "A Night At The Opera", "Horse Feathers", "A Day At The Races", "Love Happy"......
.....hoo-ray for Cap'n Spaulding while I'm at it

Yeah, wasn't Shojomaku the one who communicated through a series of weird noises?
Man I love the Marx Manko brothers. Perfect synchronized comedy.

JLLM, I meant to ask you -- have you ever heard a band called Cruxshadow? They do this wonderful cheesy darkwave stuff. I think there's a song about how his mom committed suicide and "although her pain ended, his had just begun.." Ah, so much fun. I'm seeing them next door tonight. Wondered if you'd heard of them. Singer sounds like Peter Murphy.

For our two resident little goblins ...
NIGHTWISH - Once
In the wake of Evanescence, cometh the inevitable surge of what I'll call "bustier metal" - in which soprano goth princess rides her valkyries through a kind of bombastic maximus fantasy metal replete with "Live and Let Die" orchestrations. From the otherwise wonderful Finland they came, and given the ocean of male fantasy projection already in metal, there is no reason a girl can't be self-indulgent; but these songs are interminable as a Helsinki winter ...

I think there's a veiled point being made that you already have.

I didn't think my sarcasm was that heavily veiled.

(2 / 5 stars) Some people just aren't into classical music, thats cool. I happen to love classical and opera. But please do understand that Evanescence is neither, they are overblown pop/linkin park wannabe metal. They are absolutely NOTHING like Nightwish. Lacuna Coil is so much better than Evanescence and has been around for 9 years. Nightwish has been around 8 years. Tarja is a profesionally trained opera singer and has an opera solo career. You know, balllets, plays that high cultural type of stuff.

Aside from manko, what do those mean? I'm having such a bad day, and I would derive great pleasure in learning some new bad words. Chinko, manko, kintama, paizuri and shojomaku means penis, vaniga, testicles, titty-fuck and hymen, respectively.
