Actually, JLLM was to make a Muse mix and send copies to Luke and I, sometime back in 1977.
That said, I'm contemplating a mix for their best stuff, and if I can get it together, I will absolutely send you a copy.

well, I did thoroughly enjoy the Strokes debut, but always envisioned them as a one=off...Coldplay's 2nd LP is great, but again, a bit over-rated..Radiohead never did it for me until years later when I availed myself of The Bends....but when all is said and done I have to give the nod to Wilco...

Be sure to include the song where Bellamy inhales loudly and sharply after every verse!!
Wait! That would be all of them...

Ssssshhh. Don't mention that rockdoc! It becomes most distracting if you actively start to look for it.
Riley, I reckon melon would like the slower stuff ("Unintended", "Falling Down" etc) more than you or luke seem to.

Melon, before you worry about Muse you still need to try Sigur Ros. I'm telling you again, that's not a demon on the album cover. It's a foetus with angel wings. Besides, you could always try Takk instead. But being the Pumpkins & Radiohead fanatic that you are, I would fall off my chair (gracefully, and with artistic merit) if you didn't like Muse. I can even send out a mix to you myself, if you can just wait a few years while I get around to it.

JLLM, Absolution is in my top 50 of all time, dude. Sadly, it's all I'm familiar with by them. Don't have the cash to be buying a bunch of their stuff, but I would love to hear more. Can't wait til you get that to me in '07 .

Too bad The White Stripes beat 'em. I CAN understand why though. They did have more output this decade and all of it that I've heard is good.

Wilco is so far and above all of those bands, it's not even close (except for Radiohead).
