Here’s mine:
1. Moving Pictures 2. Permanent Waves 3. Hemispheres (3 and 4 are a toss up but lately I’ve been favouring Hemispheres a bit more.) 4. Signals 5. A Farewell to Kings 6. Vapor Trails 7. Presto 8. 2112 9. Grace Under Pressure 10. Ordinarily, I’d slot Power Windows in here but right now I’ll say Feedback, even though it’s officially classed as an EP. An absolute friggin' joy to listen to!!

I don't know, Riley, "Run to You" cuts pretty close to the line. Just thinking about it, I can see the cheesy video.

I think the video sank that one big time. If I try to step back objectively there's a pretty decent rock hook in the actual song. This whole exercise was more to see if it could be done. I doubt it will lead to me pulling out any vinyl to check my answers

On the 'do suck' list, didn't one of those have a video with (I think) Sting and Rod Stewart in it? Just about the all-time nadir of Canadian pop music video suckage.

Indeed. 3 of the biggest arseholes in music, all together, making one really bad song with an equally apalling video.
"All For One" or some fucking thing. Terrible.

Hey boys. Haven't talked to you in awhile. And I come back to the CanCon board to see a discussion about Bryan Adams? Good heavens. Speaking of which - before Adams became a Professional Shitty Balladeer, Heaven was actually a pretty decent tune. Or maybe it's just the nostalgic value at this point, I'm not sure. That All for One song (which WAS the 3 Musketeers songs) was terrible, terrible, terrible. Please tell me they didn't wear tights in that video? I seem to remember tights, but I'm hoping it was just a horrible nightmare, because no one needs to see that.

No tights Tunes. Just piss poor lyrics, washed up over priced artists, and David Foster.
"Heaven" isn't bad either, all tings considered.
Where ya been stranger?

Oh, here and there... well, NOT here, actually. Haven't had as much time for the boards in the past couple of weeks, between being unusually busy at work and having lots to do at home.
I obviously need to adjust my priorities.

Packed up as in you're moving soon? When is that happening? I am so out of the loop.
OK, I just got back from riding a 27-person bike for Heart & Stroke, and I'm surprisingly tired. It's surprising when you find out that a road you thought was flat is actually really, really not. *yawn*

I almost did that big bike thing with our crew here, but couldn't fit it in.
We're building a house about 30 minutes outside the city and we're due to move in next week. Right now we're living with Mom & Dad.
I'll try and put some pics up in due course.

That's fantastic - congrats! I remembered you saying you were building outside the city, but didn't realize time had passed so quickly. OK seriously - 13 degrees outside? Even for a summer that's been really fucking crappy weather-wise, that's pushing it a bit. I dig the early fall feel, but would really prefer to leave it for early fall.
