Hey, Rocky, you snuck in on me in the middle of uploading! Yeah, that's the other guitar player. The shaggy one is the bass player. Sax player in the Hawaiian shirt in that pic.
[edit] Er, just to clarify, on this page above, from left: sax, percussion, vocals; bass; guitar, harmonica, vocals; drums; me (guitar and vocals, of course!)

Nice review. Here's a link to an original tune recorded live by the Mojos. The last time I tried this, the first part of the tune was horrific-sounding, but then it played OK all the way through. The sound quality is poor, but not that poor! This is still up at FreeToy's site - remember him? www.freetoys.com/mojos/ Here's a link to a Photojam of an original DNA tune at the DNA website. When you click the link, it will first download the Shockwave Photojam player (it's safe), then the images and sound file. It takes a couple of minutes, but it's worth it! ;-) dnamusic.home.mindspring.com/video.htmThere are also some sound-only clips on the site. Have a look around the site while you're there! It needs to be updated, but since we're on "hiatus" I'm not too motivated to do anything with it right now.

*enters humbly to plead for advice* so this guy has been begging me to play my accordion to open up cabaret voltage at urban lounge (a local music venue/dive bar).... it's broken, but this guy said he'd even pay to get it fixed or reimburse me if i rent one... i have jammed with a variety of slackers, but never tried to perform in public. ackk! do any of you get stage fright? how do you overcome it, especially if you're trying to do something solo?

I hope you're playing zydeco and not polkas! But to your question: be prepared, be prepared, be prepared. Rehearse. Eat something, but don't get stuffed. Have a drink or two if you're so inclined, but don't get sloshed. Then, just think about what you're doing. It passes.

you'll only get comfortable after the 2nd or 3rd time (or later), and people are not haters.. they'll cut you some slack and realize that you're a newbie.
