Sometimes this is my favorite metal album ever... ...sometimes it's this one... ...occasionally it's this one... ...it's even this one now and then... ...but mostly this is the best metal album ever...

Haha, I love how out of all those bands, it's Metallica with the big corporate "21% off" in the pic. Heelarious.

Yeah Metallica is pretty much a complete joke now, especially after their last three albums and after watching Some Kind of Whinnig Pussy ...oops... I mean Monster. The best part of that DVD was Dave Mustaine.
Anyway, Hypocrisy January 12th in Memphis. \m/

You know, I still love early Metallica. As a matter of fact, I saw this band called Trivium that was pretty close to old school Metallica if Metallica was fronted by the guy from Mastodon. I think that's why Metallica has fallen from so far from grace. Look at the output before "the black album" which I think is nothing short of perfect. I really hated "the black album" though. That was the beginning of the end for me.
Mastodon is quite possibly the best metal band name ever.

So, name the best metal show you have ever been to. Mine is by far the Relapse Festival of 2003 when I say Mastodon, Neurosis, Pig Destroyer, The End, Dysrhythmia, Cephalic Carnage, High On Fire, Today is the Day, Alabama Thunderpussy, Burnt By the Sun, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and a couple of others that I am probably forgetting. Man, it was a great show. I got to hang out with Mastodon and drink with Steve Austin from Today is the Day. Is a screaming scary demon on stage and his lyrics are frightening, but in person he was quite personable and well, schoolboyish. I also spilled a drink on David Cross, which made me smile. I can't stand that guy.
