This has got goth elements, though 'goth' isn't by any means the strongest suit on display through the album. Great album though: I love what they've done with "If Only Tonight We Could Sleep" and "The Chauffeur", incidentally. I just heard those covers for the first time just now. Not so sure about "Please Please please Let Me Get What I Want".

On the other hand, it did lift their profile in the US, so you could say it paid off commercially just like U2's Yankee-ass-kissing godawful Joshua Tree bollocks. You're a genius. I could kiss you. England 06!!!!!!! For a modern goth classic pick this up.

Arghhh! I don't know the cover. You're going to have to supply album name and/or band, Skvor.

Goth chicks are pretty hot. Real goth chicks, mind you. The ones with the figures and the skin for it. Not those big'uns who shop at the fat version of Hot Topic, or the ugly ones whose skin looks all raunchy when magnified like that. But the real ones.

It's a poison you're posting, Jesus. Man, I love going to goth clubs and staring at the eye-candy.

LOL to luke for bringing up fat goth chicks. Yes even us other females (meow) dislike this look. Nothing hot at all about a large one bulging out o’ black. Takes the high tension sex mystery of goth away in one dead heartbeat IMO.

Sabbath? Eh......I'm not sure about that. Samael and Him I would catergorize as more metal. I have yet to hear The Bronx Casket........mmmm.........interesting.

I always thought of Sabbath as dark/Goth Metal, same with Samael, but their early stuff is very raw and heavy more like Black Metal for sure. HIM is classified as both, Goth and Love Metal. Sentenced, Charon, and Poisonblack is definately Goth Metal.
Bronx Casket Compay is really good. Jack Frost from Savatage and Seven Witches is on guitar and Mike Hideous on vocals and DD on bass and vocals, Tim Mallare from Overkill on drums.

ooh! What an intriguing thread. The music of my teen years + a place I can play nice with HMF...I'd like to join in. My goth ten coming up.
